La force du sujet et de l’écriture de la chanson au cœur d’un album important d’un des plus grands artistes de ce début de siècle.
Noir Désir – “Le temps des Cerises”
Un des derniers morceaux de Noir Désir que j’ai beaucoup écouté au lycée, reprise sensible d’une chanson historique du patrimoine musical français.
Chanson représentative du talent de récit et d’interprétation de Jacques Brel, qui a accompagné mon enfance.
Ticket gagnant : quel a été le moment déterminant pour mettre le pied à l’étrier dans ce milieu ?
Pendant ma licence d’histoire, quand j’ai eu l’occasion d’aider un groupe de musique amateur à trouver quelques dates de concert et par la même de découvrir avec attraction ce milieu.
Recommandation de spectacle/concert à voir absolument pour quelqu’un qui ne sort jamais ?
Cabadzi x Blier ; moment musical et visuel intense.
Qu’est-ce qui vous a pris de vouloir travailler dans la musique?
Bonne question ; l’envie de faire un métier passionnant que j’étais susceptible d’aimer et dans lequel je serai pleinement investi.

SRSLY (sérieusement) : les enjeux de votre métier dans les 5 prochaines années ?
Arriver à préserver la diversité face à la concentration, qu’il s’agisse des concerts ou de la diffusion de musique enregistrée ; en garantissant aux créateurs une rémunération juste et équitable leur permettant de continuer à pouvoir vivre de leur métier et de pouvoir présenter leur musique. Pour ce qui est du spectacle vivant, cela nécessite une mobilisation collective des programmateurs et des bookers de la filière, d’un travail collectif en bonne intelligence pour favoriser le développement de carrières d’artistes en refusant les choix faciles.
Y a-t-il une vie après la musique et à quoi la vôtre ressemblerait-elle?
J’espère ! Je fais un métier qui prend beaucoup d’énergie, pas sûr d’en avoir pour durer toute une vie ; alors soit un métier moins énergivore dans le même secteur, soit une reconversion plus radicale, peut être vers un métier manuel, de construction pour avoir la chance de passer ses journées autre part que derrière un écran.

Noir Désir – “Le temps des Cerises”
One of the lasts songs of Noir Desir that I’ve listen many times in high school, a delicate cover of a historical song of the French heritage.
A song that demonstrates well the outstanding talent of Jacques Brel, with who I have grown with.
Golden Ticket moment: when did you get your big break?
When I was studding History and had the opportunity to help an amateur music band in finding gigs and at the same time discovering a strong attraction with this atypical workplace.
The show/gig you recommend for someone who has rarely ever goes out?
Cabadzi x Blier ; outstanding musical and visual performance.
Why on earth did you want to work in music?
Good question ; the will to have a fascinating job that I could love and in which I would be fully involved.

SRSLY(seriously) : what are the stakes of your job within the next 5 years?
Try to preserve diversity against economic concentration, in both fields of performing arts and recorded music industry. We need to ensure a fair remuneration to creators in order to allow them to live of their work and preserve musical creations. In the performing arts field, that means that both programmers and bookers have to work together to support artistic development of newcomers instead of easy choices.
Is there life after music, and what would yours be ?
I hope so ! My job is taking from me a lot of energy…I’m not sure to have it for a whole lifetime. Therefore, a more peaceful job in the same field or a more radical change, maybe some manual work to construct things and spend my days somewhere else than behind a screen.
