Music is life and life is music : 3 chansons/œuvres musicales marquantes personnellement ?

« Paradis Airlines » – Lino

Classique intemporel, j’ai commencé à prendre goût au rap et à l’écriture en partie grâce à la plume de Lino.

« R.u.e » – Salif

Un morceau & un artiste qui m’ont longtemps accompagné dans mes années lycée, je vois ce morceau comme le message d’un grand frère qui dresse un constat lucide de son époque à ses cadets.

« Trajectoire » – Népal

Pour le frisson que ce morceau me procure à chaque écoute.

Ticket gagnant : quel a été le moment déterminant pour mettre le pied à l’étrier dans ce milieu ?

A la suite de mon Master 1, j’ai fait un break dans mon parcours universitaire et j’ai rejoint la FéMAG (Fédération des Musiques Actuelles du Gard) en service civique pour découvrir le monde de la musique de l’intérieur. Le volontariat s’est transformé en emploi, je n’ai finalement pas repris mes études.

Recommandation de spectacle/concert à voir absolument pour quelqu’un qui ne sort jamais ?

J’ai eu la chance de programmer Casey en 2019 avec la FéMAG, et je pense que c’est un de mes plus beaux souvenirs de concerts, que ce soit en tant qu’organisateur qu’en tant que spectateur, je paierais cher pour la voir une seconde fois !

Qu’est-ce qui vous a pris de vouloir travailler dans la musique?

Mordu de musique depuis toujours, je voulais découvrir l’envers du décor. Je me suis rapidement investi dans la promotion d’artistes locaux de ma région de façon bénévole, puis j’ai commencé à monter des évènements. J’avais envie de m’investir dans ce milieu, et je ne voyais pas d’autres domaines dans lesquels je pourrais autant m’épanouir.

Développer davantage la dimension psychologique du management d’artistes, préserver la santé mentale des artistes.

Idéalement, une vie de voyages.

« Paradis Airlines » – Lino

A timeless classic. I began to develop my love for rap and writing partly thanks to Lino.

« R.u.e » – Salif

A piece & an artist who accompanied me for a long time in my high school years. This track is like an older brother’s warning, a lucid assessment critic of his era for youngers.

« Trajectoire » – Népal

For the thrill I get every time I listen to this track.

Golden Ticket moment : when did you get your big break ?

After my Master 1, I took a break from my university studies and joined the FéMAG (Federation of « Musiques Actuelles » of the Gard) in civic service to discover the world of music from the inside. Voluntary work turned into a job, I finally didn’t go back to school.

The show/gig you recommend for someone who has rarely ever goes out?

I was lucky enough to program Casey in 2019 with FéMAG, and I think it’s one of my most beautifyl memories of concerts, both as an organiser and as a spectator, I would pay dearly to see it a second time!

Why on earth did you want to work in music?

I’ve always been a music lover and I wanted to discover behind the scene. I quickly got involved in promoting local artists from my region on a volunteer basis and then started organizing events. I wanted to get involved in this field, and I couldn’t think of any other area in which I could flourish so much.
