Ce thème musical m’a profondément touché dès ma première écoute et m’a ouvert les yeux sur la manière dont la musique et l’image, combinées, peuvent produire une expérience extrêmement marquante.
« Fragments of Time » (feat Todd Edwards) – Daft Punk
La perfection de cet enregistrement me laisse sans voix à chaque écoute et m’inspire toujours à composer.
« September » – Earth, Wind & Fire
Cette œuvre est un rappel précieux du goût musical que mon père m’a transmis. J’éprouve beaucoup de gratitude envers mes parents (non-musiciens) pour leur amour et appréciation de la musique dans sa diversité.
Ticket gagnant : quel a été le moment déterminant pour mettre le pied à l’étrier dans ce milieu ?
J’ai participé au programme Berklee Summer Performance en 2015, et j’y ai découvert des passionnés, une énergie unique et une dévotion complète pour la musique. Ce moment a simplifié mon projet et la trajectoire à suivre.
Recommandation de spectacle/concert à voir absolument pour quelqu’un qui ne sort jamais ?
Les concerts Sofar Sounds sont magiques ; j’adore découvrir de nouveaux artistes de cette manière. Je pense que c’est un bon point de départ.
Qu’est-ce qui vous a pris de vouloir travailler dans la musique?
La musique est un langage universel qui nous aide à nous comprendre et à avoir de l’empathie les uns pour les autres. C’est si puissant. Pour moi, c’est une vocation. Je veux continuer à faire partie de ce monde/secteur et participer à le construire et le façonner.

SRSLY (sérieusement) : les enjeux de votre métier dans les 5 prochaines années ?
La synchronisation musicale évolue rapidement avec l’IA qui change déjà notre manière de créer et consommer. En tant qu’utilisateur très actif de ces outils, je suis inspiré par les possibilités qu’ils offrent pour la création. Néanmoins, je me sens également responsable de contribuer à leur bonne construction, en reconnaissant les œuvres et les créateurs sur lesquels ils s’appuient et apprennent.
Y a-t-il une vie après la musique et à quoi la vôtre ressemblerait-elle ?
Je ne pense pas. L’idée de retirer complètement la musique de ma vie semble très étrange, voire triste dans une certaine mesure. Elle fait partie intégrante de mon identité et m’apporte beaucoup de joie, notamment grâce aux gens que j’ai rencontrés grâce à elle. Je pense que dans le futur j’aimerais diversifier mes activités et explorer d’autres projets, comme ouvrir une boulangerie ici à Valencia et créer un bar à cocktails avec certains de mes amis.

This musical theme had me feeling strong emotions from the first time I heard it and it opened my mind to how music and images can create a very profound and impactful experience when blended together.
« Fragments of Time » (feat Todd Edwards) – Daft Punk
The perfection of that recording always leaves me speechless and it keeps me inspired to make my own music.
« September » – Earth, Wind & Fire
This masterpiece is just a strong reminder of the music taste my dad passed onto me and I feel grateful for my parents (non-musicians) appreciation and love for music.
Golden Ticket moment : when did you get your big break ?
I attended Berklee Summer Performance Program and fell in love with the people, the energy and the passion/dedication to music. The rest of the trajectory was clearer after that specific moment.
The show/gig you recommend for someone who has rarely ever goes out ?
Sofar Sounds concerts feels special to me, I love discovering new artists that way. I think it would be a good place to start.
Why on earth did you want to work in music ?
It such a universal language and it helps us understand each other and have empathy for one another, it is so powerful. To me, it feels like a calling. I want to continue to be a part of this music world and participate in building and shaping it.

SRSLY (seriously): what are the stakes of your job within the next 5 years in your opinion ?
Music Licensing is evolving fast as AI changes the way we create and consume. As a very active user of those tools, I am inspired by the possibilities it offers for creation, but I also feel responsible to be a part of how we build it correctly, recognizing the works and creators it learns from.
Is there life after music, and what would yours be ?
I don’t think so. The idea of having music completely out of my life feels very strange, even sad to some extent. It is an integral part of my identity, and it brings me a lot of joy especially from the people I met through it. I guess that I would love to diversify and explore other ventures, like opening a boulangerie here in Valencia and create a cocktail bar with some friends of mine.
