Music is life and life is music : 3 chansons/œuvres musicales marquantes personnellement ?
Premier concert de ma vie, c’était l’intro, j’ai pris une claque. J’ai tout de suite su que je voulais bosser là dedans.
« Big Brown Eyes » – Benny Sings
Une grande sensibilité, même sur la version radio, se dégage de cette musique et m’a toujours envoutée.
La toute première musique de rap que j’ai écouté avec ma mère, qui deviendra influenceuse rap des années plus tard.
Ticket gagnant : quel a été le moment déterminant pour mettre le pied à l’étrier dans ce milieu ?
J’ai rencontré en répondant à une petite annonce la manageuse du groupe YouMan à lille. Leur deuxième manager était le directeur artistique du Magazine Club à Lille. Elle m’a appris les rudiment de management et lui cherchait un technicien lumière pour son club.
Grâce à cette occasion j’ai pu rencontrer le réseau lillois et j’ai eu envie de persévérer dans ce milieu.
Recommandation de spectacle/concert à voir absolument pour quelqu’un qui ne sort jamais ?
Le coeur dirait JUSTICE évidemment mais je conseille le génialissime Ouais Stéphane pour quelque chose de plus interactif.
Qu’est-ce qui vous a pris de vouloir travailler dans la musique?
J’ai toujours aimé la magie étant enfant. Le spectacle vivant est la continuité de cela, l’artiste sur scène n’est plus humain, son live n’est pas juste « un morceau joué sur scène » : l’endroit et le moment sont transcendés et créent un moment hors du temps, hors du quotidien. J’ai toujours aimé montrer des tours de magie à mes amis, je pense que j’aime connaître les rouages et provoquer l’émerveillement chez les gens. Il en a été de même pour la musique.

Les véritables enjeux du secteur du spectacle vivant seront évidemment écologiques.
Les artistes émergent ne doivent pas être désavantagés par rapport aux gros headliners sur ces thématiques.
Y a-t-il une vie après la musique et à quoi la vôtre ressemblerait-elle ?
Pleine de jeux de sociétés et d’amis.

First concert of my life, it was an epiphany.
« Big Brown Eyes » – Benny Sings
A true sensitive pop song, even the radio version. It has something I can’t really describe.
First rap music I listened to with my mom, who is today a rap influencer on socials.
Golden Ticket moment : when did you get your big break ?
I met the manager of the band YouMan in Lille after responding to a classified ad. Their second manager was the artistic director of Magazine Club in Lille. She taught me the basics of management and the other one was looking for a lighting technician for his club.
Thanks to this opportunity, I was able to meet the Lille network and I wanted to persevere in this field.
The show/gig you recommend for someone who has rarely ever goes out ?
My heart goes to Justice but I do recommend Ouais Stephane for something really fun to watch.
Why on earth did you want to work in music ?
I always loved magic as a child. Live performances are a bit like that: the artist on stage is no longer human, their performance is not just “a song played on stage.” The place and the moment are transcended, creating a moment that is timeless, outside of everyday life. I’ve always loved showing magic tricks to my friends. I think I like knowing how they work and amaze people.

SRSLY (seriously): what are the stakes of your job within the next 5 years in your opinion ?
The real challenges facing the performing arts sector will obviously be environmental.
Emerging artists should not be at a disadvantage compared to big headliners when it comes to these issues.
Is there life after music, and what would yours be ?
Full of board games and friends.
